What else is known about the deal? To acquire a rare token, Deepak Thapliyal used credit collateral on the Compound crypto platform. This allowed him to buy NFT without having to sell his digital assets.
The community is divided on the purpose and meaning of this transaction. Some felt that the deal was funded by the Chain company itself to create frenzy and hype both around itself and around the collection. There are also opinions that in this way Deepak Thapliyal wants to evade taxes and launder the high profits made through the use of cryptocurrencies. According to some representatives of the crypto community, the NFT sphere is currently tax-free, which is one of the ways to “launder” the income.
