Что произошло? Платежная компания MoneyGram договорилась о партнерстве с блокчейн-стартапом Stellar Development Foundation. Об этом говорится в пресс-релизе MoneyGram. Платформа будет использовать инструменты Stellar для ускорения денежных переводов и улучшения процесса расчетов.
Что подразумевает под собой партнерство? В рамках проекта владельцы цифровых кошельков, зарегистрированных в сети Stellar, смогут обменивать стейблкоины USD Coin (USDC) на местный фиат и обратно в пунктах MoneyGram. В качестве расчетного банка для совершения процесса перевода денег в условиях нормативной базы будет выступать United Texas Bank.
Ожидается, что партнерство начнется в конце 2021 года в отдельных юрисдикциях, а расширенное международное развертывание запланировано на 2022 год.
