What’s new? The South Korean subsidiary of automaker Renault has entered into a partnership with The Sandbox metaverse. As part of the partnership, customers of Renault Korea Motors will get new ways to use their automobiles in the metaverse. The news about this was published on the official blog of The Sandbox.
What else is known about the partnership? According to Cindy Lee, CEO at The Sandbox Korea, the parties will offer consumers new types of services that combine automobiles and digital assets in the virtual world. The company will support Renault’s various marketing activities in order to establish long-term relationships with new generations of customers who are familiar with the digital environment.
Earlier, one of South Korea’s four national broadcasters, MBC (Munhwa Broadcasting Corporation) entered into a partnership with The Sandbox. As part of the collaboration, MBC will create a virtual office building, production studios, and other content for users.
