What’s new? Analytics company Chainalysis has launched a 24/7 hotline for companies affected by fraudsters, hackers, and cyberattacks. Victims of cryptocurrency-related crimes can get help and support in recovering their lost funds.

What else is known about the initiative? After contacting Chainalysis, the company’s experts will mark and trace the stolen funds. There are also plans to work jointly with law enforcers to catch the criminals and recover the funds. In this, companies do not have to be current customers of Chainalysis to contact the 24/7 hotline.
In May, Chainalysis released a web-based tool to track and visualize transactions in blockchain networks. Storyline reviews smart contracts that support decentralized finance (DeFi) and non-fungible tokens (NFTs). According to Chainalysis, these are two of blockchain’s most criminalized industries, with DeFi protocols already losing more than $1,68 billion to cybercriminals in 2022.
