What’s new? On April 22, within the RadioDoge project, the first offline transaction was conducted using the Libdogecoin protocol, which was eventually transferred to the mainnet via Starlink. The transaction amounted to 4,2069 DOGE. This was announced by the Dogecoin Foundation’s Principal Engineer Michi Lumin on Twitter.
What preceded it? On April 11, the Dogecoin Foundation announced the RadioDoge project, which will provide access to conducting offline transactions. The organization aims to make Dogecoin an international means of payment. Product Lead at the Dogecoin Foundation Timothy Stebbing and Principal Engineer Michi Lumin are working on the project.
What had happened before? On March 23, Bitcoin of America added Dogecoin to its crypto ATMs across the United States.
