What’s new? Web publishing platform Mirror has announced the launch of “Web 3.0 subscriptions.” According to a blog post, the new feature will allow readers to subscribe to the platform's authors using cryptocurrency wallets. By linking the address, customers will be able to receive email notifications when new content is published.
What is known about Mirror? It is a decentralized writing platform. Its creator is Denis Nazarov, partner of the crypto investment team of the Andreessen Horowitz Venture Fund (a16z). Mirror is based on the Arweave blockchain. The platform provides content creators with features such as publishing articles, crowdfunding, sharing joint contributions, and community voting on project management.
In March, cryptocurrency exchange Coinbase began testing a zero-commission trading system based on a monthly subscription. The Coinbase One program also includes up to $1 million in account insurance and 24/7 support.
