What's new? Athletic apparel and footwear brand Nike has released digital NFT sneakers in collaboration with RTFKT Studios based on Ethereum. RTFKT x Nike Dunk Genesis CryptoKicks are digital shoes that can change styles. The first crypto sneakers were issued to NFT RTFKT holders.
More details about the new NFTs. The announcement of the new tokens came after a series of puzzles that collectors had to solve before getting to the site with the “unboxing” of the digital sneakers. According to the official FAQ on Discord's RTFKT server, there will be another NFT giveaway quest this year.
Each pair of CryptoKicks will have an “evolutionary path” that will allow them to evolve. Nike token holders have already started putting digital sneakers up for sale. On the OpenSea marketplace, their price ranges from 3 to 80 ETH.
What is RTFKT Studios? It's a company that makes digital sneakers in the form of NFTs. Nike acquired RTFKT Studios in December 2021 to develop its metaverse.
