When comparing the TVL (total value locked) indicators and the number of holders, one sees a surge in the number of addresses due to the integration of smart contract technology into the Cardano blockchain.

What had happened before? At the end of March, the analysts at IntoTheBlock noted that the volume of transfers on the Cardano network increased dramatically. The experts believe that this may indicate a massive purchase of ADA tokens by institutional investors. In 2022, the number of ADA’s token transactions over $100 000 increased by 50 times.
