What’s new? VanEck, a US investment company, will launch the VanEck Community NFT, a collection of non-fungible tokens on the Ethereum blockchain. The company representatives announced this in an official press release.
What else is known about the collection? A total of 1000 tokens will be issued in three categories: commons (750 pcs.), rare (230 pcs.), and legendary (20 pcs.). The collection is being developed in partnership with NUMOMO, a creative agency, and focuses on the journeys of a fictional character Hammy, who explores monetary policy and meets other characters who help in his mission.
There are bonuses for NFT holders in the form of early access to the company’s research or invitations to in-person and virtual events. According to VanEck Community NFT co-founder Matthew Bartlett, each token represents a digital membership card of the VanEck community.
What events happened before? At the end of March, VanEck predicted a rise in the price of bitcoin to $4,8 million if it became a global reserve asset. The experts came to this conclusion based on the global M0 and M2 money supplies.
What is known about VanEck? It is one of the world’s largest investment management companies. It was founded in 1955 in New York. The total amount of assets under management (AUM) of VanEck ETFs is about $63,11 billion (according to ETF.com).
