What’s new? According to a CoinDesk Korea investigation conducted in conjunction with analytics company CryptoQuant, 3313 BTC ($65,8 million at the average rate during that period) was transferred from the the Luna Foundation Guard’s (LFG) wallet, created on the Binance exchange, to Kucoin and OKX exchanges between September 15 to 18. Herewith, on September 14, South Korean law enforcement officers issued an arrest warrant for Terraform Labs (TFL) CEO Do Kwon. Kucoin froze 1354 BTC ($26,9 million) at the request of the authorities, while OKX ignored the request.
More details about the situation. LFG is a non-profit organization that was created to support the Terra ecosystem. South Korean law enforcement officers link the movement of funds to Do Kwon’s activities. The prosecutor in charge of the case added that to carry out further investigative measures, it is necessary to identify whether these funds are being used for escape.
Meanwhile, on September 26, the TFL head once again stated that he is “making zero effort to hide.”
Yeah as i said im making zero effort to hideI go on walks and malls, no way none of CT hasnt run into me the past couple weeks— Do Kwon 🌕 (@stablekwon) September 26, 2022
Kwon’s comment was in response to the news that Interpol issued a Red Notice against him. This implies that the head of TFL is an internationally wanted person. Kwon noted that he could not find his profile on the relevant page of the Interpol website.
