What’s new? Polium will create the world’s first gaming console focused on Web 3.0 technologies. According to a statement on the company’s blog, Polium One will be able to run games based on ImmutableX, Solana, Ethereum, Polygon, BNB, EOS, Wax, and Harmony blockchains without having to switch networks. The marketplace is also available on the console, where players will be able to trade both in-game and non-game NFTs. The console features a wallet button for making transactions while playing, as well as a fingerprint scanner to protect users’ assets. The approximate release date is the third quarter of 2024.
What else is known about Polium One? One can pre-order the console by releasing or buying a Polium Pass, a pass presented as an NFT collection. Once Polium One goes on sale, owners will be able to obtain it by burning the pass. The Polium Pass will give customers access to the PFP airdrops, staking rewards, and launch events that will take place in Japan, the UK, and the US.
At the moment, the console’s hardware is being developed, with more detailed information on the specifications to be provided by the company later. In this, it is known that the console will be equipped with NVIDIA GPU, the device will support 8K HDR, up to 120 FPS, and ray tracing.

Earlier, Solana Mobile, a subsidiary of Solana Labs, unveiled Saga, an Android-based smartphone. Saga is already available for pre-order. The smartphone will go on sale in early 2023 at a price of $1000.
