What’s new? TIME magazine has published a list of the 100 most influential companies of 2022, including four crypto companies. Paxful, OpenSea, Together Labs, and The Sandbox made the list.

More details about the crypto companies. Paxful is an international P2P cryptocurrency trading platform founded in 2015. The users can specify the price they want to buy digital assets for themselves. The platform has more than 7 million users.
OpenSea is the first NFT marketplace based on the Ethereum blockchain, launched in 2017. The platform’s users can sell and buy non-fungible tokens, as well as create their own collections. The number of people who have made at least one transaction on the marketplace reached 1 million in early 2022.
Together Labs is a developer company of the IMVU metaverse, which has more than 7 million monthly active users. In 2021, Together Labs issued its own cryptocurrency, VCOIN, which is used as an internal currency in IMVU.
The Sandbox is an Ethereum-based metaverse developed by game studio Pixowl and released on May 15, 2012. The platform allows users to create their own worlds using free tools. The virtual items and real estate can be bought or sold as NFTs.
What was last year? Two crypto companies, Digital Currency Group, an asset manager, and Coinbase, the largest cryptocurrency exchange in the US, were included in TIME’s list of the most influential companies of 2021.
