What’s new? The adoption of cryptocurrencies in Germany is at a high level, with up to 44% of the population planning to invest in digital assets. This is reported by Beincrypto, citing a KuCoin exchange report titled “Into The Cryptoverse 2022, Germany edition.”

What other data is contained in the report? As of March 2022, 16% of Germans own cryptocurrencies, of which 41% intend to increase their share of investments in the next few months.
44% of Germans want to enter the cryptocurrency industry soon to become part of “the future of finance.” 35% of respondents will do this for the opportunity of passive income, while 30% believe that cryptocurrencies will be the best means of value storage.
The most popular product among German investors is staking, with an average of 24% of trading volumes allocated to it. The second most popular product is crypto loans. Up to 13% of investors’ trading volumes are allocated to this type of product.
What had happened before? In September 2021, crypto platform BlockFi conducted a survey among American women “Real Talk: Women & Crypto.” The results showed that one in three women in the United States plans to buy cryptocurrency in 2022.
