What's new? Binance has announced a 100 million euro initiative to develop the French and European blockchain and crypto ecosystem in partnership with the non-profit association France Fintech. Binance announced this in its blog.
What is the opinion of France Fintech’s representative? Speaking about this, Alain Clot, Chairman of France Fintech, announced:
“France Fintech believes that France is uniquely positioned in terms of regulation, talent, and expertise to be the leading player in Europe in the field of decentralized finance. And we believe that the collaboration started with Binance today will allow the entire ecosystem to grow significantly in the coming years”.
What is the point of the project? The initiative, called “Objective Moon”, will include an online educational program for the development of French crypto and blockchain developers. It will focus on the development of a Decentralized Ledger Technology (DLT) accelerator, as well as the development of the Binance research and development center in France. The project is being implemented in partnership with Ledger, a hardware wallet manufacturer, and OpenClassroom, an online professional training platform.
What does the Binance CEO say? The founder and CEO of the exchange Changpeng Zhao said:
“At Binance, we recognise the quality of French and European tech, crypto and blockchain talent, and we are convinced that with the launch of Binance's major operations and investment in France, we can significantly contribute toward making France and Europe the leading global player in blockchain and crypto industry”.
