What’s new? The analysts at JPMorgan Chase bank predict a bright future for Ethereum. They say the asset will be a better choice for investors than Bitcoin. The ETN rate has risen by 500% since the beginning of the year, while the bitcoin rate is up 96%. Current trends in the global economy indicate that this trend will continue, according to the banking analysts. The Independent reports about this.

What are the advantages of ETN? The analysts have noted that Ethereum may be more profitable in the long term because of the transition from a Proof-of-Work (PoW) mining algorithm to Proof-of-Stake (PoS), which will have less impact on the environment:
“The greater focus by investors on [environmental, social and governance investing] has shifted attention away from the energy-intensive Bitcoin blockchain to the Ethereum blockchain.”
What do investors think? A survey on the uk.investing.com portal found that 52% of investors intend to buy ether by the end of 2021, while 48% plan to invest in bitcoin. The uk.investing.com senior analyst Jesse Cohen reported:
“Many crypto investors have turned more bullish on Ethereum over the past year thanks to its increased involvement in DeFi projects and NFTs. With the price still below the $5000-level, many expect ETH to double its price in 2022. That said, bitcoin is showing no signs of slowing down.”
