What are the benefits? Opera’s integration with DeversiFi will allow customers to access low-cost, near-instant transactions that do not require any personal information. Speaking about the collaboration with Opera, DeversiFi co-founder and CEO Will Harborne stated:
“Through this integration, the everyday Opera user is able to seamlessly interact with DeFi on a user-friendly interface and experience a completely new way to interact with financial services. Layer 2 technologies are revolutionizing the blockchain industry, and we are proud to be working with Opera.”
How does the scaling mechanism work? DeversiFi uses the StarkEx scaling mechanism, which makes transactions go through layer 2 solutions. They are almost near-instant and almost a hundred times cheaper than transactions made through Ethereum layer 1. The integration allows Opera to eliminate unreasonably high commissions while offering its users instant trading.
