What’s new? On May 4, an unknown wallet made a transfer of 550 999 Dogecoin (DOGE) meme tokens worth $43 600. According to DogeChain, the transfer was made in two transactions: 228 804 and 322 195 DOGE ($18 105/$25 495). The address has been inactive since January 29, 2014, when a user bought 1 005 995 coins for about $1360. The address currently holds 1 005 995 coins worth $79 896.

What is known about DOGE? The meme cryptocurrency was created in 2013 by Billy Markus and Jackson Palmer. Last September, DOGE became the second most capitalized cryptocurrency on the PoW algorithm. It ranks ninth in the overall cryptocurrency ranking with a capitalization of $11,1 billion.

Large cryptocurrency transfers. On April 5, an unknown investor, one of the largest holders of DOGE, withdrew 1,5 billion coins from his wallet in three transactions. At that time, the exchange rate of the asset momentarily jumped by 68%.
