What’s new? TRON blockchain founder Justin Sun responded to a tweet from El Salvador’s President Nayib Bukele, who said that the country will start investing in bitcoin every day. The businessman supported the initiative of the state, saying that from November 18 he will also start buying 1 BTC every day. As of November 17, 08:50 UTC, the asset is trading at $16 585, down by 1,09% in 24 hours, according to Binance.
We echo @nayibbukele’s initiative in buying #Bitcoin daily. We will also buy one #Bitcoin everyday starting tomorrow! 🫡 — H.E. Justin Sun🌞🇬🇩🇩🇲🔥 (@justinsuntron) November 17, 2022
What else did Sun write? According to the head of TRON, more people are needed who would invest in bitcoin. Sun noted that if everyone in the world were to buy BTC for $1 a day, there would be $8 billion in daily investments.
On November 11, Sun said that he was willing to help the FTX crypto exchange, calling it a good way to show unity in the crypto industry, but later that day FTX Group filed for bankruptcy in the United States. In this, Sun said that Huobi was ready to provide an exchange of TRX, BTT, JST, SUN, and HT tokens for affected FTX users.
On November 12, Sun publicly acknowledged buying the Huobi crypto exchange for the first time. Previously, he denied that he was the ultimate beneficiary of the purchase of a controlling stake in the exchange, claiming that he was only a member of its global advisory board.
