What’s new? Steven Kalifowitz, the chief marketing officer of CryptoCom, told the Wall Street Journal that the company has acquired an advertising space at the Super Bowl. The FTX cryptocurrency exchange has also contracted to advertise at a sports event.
What did the companies buy the ads for? Kris Marszalek said that his company plans to become a world-famous brand, and advertising at the Super Bowl will help expand its audience. FTX also has a large number of sports-related partnerships. The exchange has already acquired the naming rights to the NBA’s Miami Heat arena. FTX CEO Sam Bankman stated:
“Our message throughout this year has been that crypto is safe, accessible, and ready for mass use. We are inviting everyone to check it out. FTX is ready to help people on their cryptocurrency journey. There is a no bigger and more mainstream event, than the Super Bowl, to share a message like that.”
