What’s new? Binance CEO Changpeng Zhao published a post on Twitter in which he warned the platform’s users about a new type of fraud. According to him, the number of phishing SMS has increased. The message says to submit a withdrawal request from the platform and attached a link to cancel it. When the link is clicked, the attackers receive data from the devices.
There is a massive Phishing scam via SMS with a link to cancel withdrawals. It leads to a phishing website to harvest your credential as in the screenshot below.NEVER click on links from SMS! What other scam schemes have been discovered? At the end of January, the scammers started sending out false information about the appearance of cryptocurrency cards from Binance in Russia.
Zhao urged users not to believe rumors and to check the facts and URLs more carefully. Recall that the crypto exchange joined the National Cyber-Forensics and Training Alliance earlier this year.
