What’s new? The Binance cryptocurrency exchange has announced that it has joined the National Cyber-Forensics and Training Alliance (NCFTA). It is a non-profit organization dedicated to identifying, validating, mitigating, and neutralizing cybercrime threats. This is stated in a press release published on Pr Newswire.
What is known about the interaction between Binance and NCFTA? The platform has become the first company in the cryptocurrency industry to join the NCFTA, notes ForkLog, citing Binance’s representatives.
What is NCFTA? The organization was founded in 2002. Its purpose is access to data and knowledge sharing between private companies, law enforcement, and academia as part of efforts to combat cybercrime.
To date, NCFTA’s initiatives have helped prevent more than $2 billion in potential losses, according to the press release.
