How did the attack take place? Hackers used Google Ads to run ad campaigns with keywords related to crypto wallets. At the same time, users found themselves on fake pages that almost completely duplicate the official ones. After entering personal data, all information became available to the scammers.
The experts recommend checking the links that users click on to prevent such situations. It is always desirable to use direct URLs and enter them directly into the browser bar, the specialists add.
