Bill Markus: “Working on a crypto project is terrible.”
What’s new? The Dogecoin co-founder warned users on Twitter that he will not return to developing the project. He explains his reluctance to work on the project by the community's attitude towards developers.
i never will. working on a crypto project is terrible as i have actually found the more you do for people, the more entitled they get and worse they treat you. i respect the developers a lot for volunteering to do so for all these years.— Shibetoshi Nakamoto (@BillyM2k) December 27, 2021
What else did Markus add? The developer admitted that he owns 220 000 DOGE, which at the time of writing is about $40 000. Bill also stated that he considers himself “not a member of the project, but a community member.” He expressed dissatisfaction with the attitude of users towards developers and called for “respect for other people's work.”
“I will never do it. Working on a crypto project is terrible. As I have actually found, the more you do for people, the more they demand and worse they treat you.”
