“We are launching FTX Gaming because we see games as an exciting use case for crypto. There are two billion-plus gamers in the world who have played with and collected digital items, and can now also own them,” the representatives of the cryptocurrency exchange stressed.
What else is known about FTX’s plans? The launch of its own platform will allow gaming companies to use FTX’s infrastructure to issue tokens and NFTs, with further integration of the new assets type into the gaming environment. A roadmap of the project is not yet known, but FTX expects the platform to be in high demand from gaming companies.
