What’s new? The representatives of the popular Japanese messenger LINE (about 86 million active users) have announced the integration of a native token into their application. Starting March 16, the users will be able to make purchases at some partner online stores. The test period will last until December.
What are the details of the project? The company’s representatives stated that they are also considering integrating other cryptocurrencies such as Bitcoin and Ethereum into their app. The move will help LINE strengthen its business relationships with its blockchain partners.
What token will be used in LINE Pay? The company will use its own cryptocurrency LINK (LN). The token was launched back in 2018 and was available on the Bitmax exchange. It is currently trading at $142,78, LN has risen in price by about 22% in the last 7 days.
