Information on the LHV website
What are the conditions? LHV customers will be able to trade major digital assets directly on the bank's mobile application. Transactions are made on the Bitstamp cryptocurrency exchange and stored on the Bitgo platform. Customers can buy and sell at market prices in eight major cryptocurrencies namely Bitcoin, Ethereum, Litecoin, Uniswap, Chainlink, Stellar lumens, Polygon, and Aave.
What does the bank's representative say? The financial institution started experimenting with blockchain technology back in 2015. Madis Toomsalu, Chairman of the Management Board of LHV Group, commented:
“By today, crypto assets have become a large field in terms of both market value as well as turnovers based on decentralized financial services. We will be the first bank in the Baltics to start offering crypto trading to our clients – as the first step, they will be able to buy and sell crypto assets on the LHV mobile app.”
