More details about the initiative. The headquarters has an auditorium for virtual conferences and other events, as well as separate meeting rooms.
The Ministry’s website already lists a third, digital headquarters address, the other two physical buildings are located in Abu Dhabi and Dubai.
In May, Dubai’s Virtual Assets Regulatory Authority (VARA) also announced the establishment of its headquarters in The Sandbox metaverse. The head of the Dubai World Trade Center (DWTC), Helal Saeed Almarri, noted that VARA’s presence in the digital world makes the UAE the first jurisdiction to enter the virtual platform.
