What does the Superscript representative say? The service will be available to mining companies, custodial platforms, blockchain developers, and NFT marketplaces. Superscript noted that Argent, Chiliz, and CEX were the first cryptocurrency companies to want to buy cyber insurance. Superscript digital assets lead Ben Davis added that in addition to protecting digital assets, there are a large number of other risks to consider.
“So, if a platform goes down ... there are privacy breaches, ransomware attacks, breaches of contract, copyright and IP infringement. All that needs to be covered.”
What is known about Superscript? The company was founded in 2015 and was called Digital Risks. The organization’s main goal was to optimize insurance for digital companies. In 2020, the company was renamed Superscript. It provides insurance coverage for more than 1000 types of businesses.
