What is known about Vasil? There are 16 stake pool operators involved in the development of the project, as well as 27 DeFi applications that test their smart contracts in the testnet.

Previously, the upgrade was scheduled to be released on June 29. The Vasil Hard Fork Combinator (HFC) will improve performance by significantly increasing throughput and reducing latency in block transmission. The Verifiable Random Function (VRF), Ouroboros, will also be optimized.

Cardano is a blockchain platform created by Input Output Hong Kong (IOHK) and Ethereum co-founder Charles Hoskinson in 2017. Cardano supports smart contracts and also has the native token ADA that enables users to participate in the operation of the network.

As of June 21, 08:50 UCT, ADA is trading at $0,5, having gained 5,38% in 24 hours (according to Binance).
