Visa survey shows that 25% of firms willing to accept cryptocurrency payments

What’s new? Visa surveyed 2250 small business owners from the US, Canada, Brazil, Singapore, Hong Kong, the United Arab Emirates, Germany, Ireland, and Russia, according to Reuters. The data showed that 25% of those surveyed willing to accept cryptocurrency as a means of payment.
What else did the survey results show? Visa also surveyed 1000 US citizens, and 500 people in each of the eight aforementioned countries. The results say that 13% of them expect to be able to pay with cryptocurrency everywhere in 2022. Jeni Mundy, Visa’s global head of merchant sales, stated:
“I think more people are feeling more confident with crypto.”
It also revealed that more than 30% of small business owners based in Brazil, the United Arab Emirates, Singapore, and Hong Kong are preparing to introduce this payment method already this year.
