What’s new? Forbes has included 15 young leaders in the crypto business in the “30 Under 30” list of the 2022 edition. The list consists of 600 people under the age of 30 from 20 categories such as finance, gaming, music, education, sports, and others.
Information on the Forbes website
Who made the list? The publication listed 15 cryptocurrency leaders, including the FTX and Alameda Research founder Sam Bankman-Fried, Brian Tubergen, the co-founder of the US initial token offering platform and the CoinList exchange, the Alamada Research board of directors co-chairs Caroline Ellison and Sam Trabucco, and the OpenSea co-founder Alex Atallah.
Outside of the financial sphere was PleasrDao's Emily Yang, who entered the “Arts” category for her work in the field of NFT. The Blockworks co-founders Michael Ippolito and Jason Yanowitz were included in the “Media” category for their contributions to crypto journalism.
What are the prospects? This year's crypto contingent is 50% larger than last year's ranking and reflects a growing trend of digital asset acceptance in mainstream media. This may be partly due to the increasing number of crypto-entrepreneurs who have made the list of the richest figures for the year. In November, seven members of the digital asset and blockchain industry made the Australian Financial Review's annual list of the richest entrepreneurs under the age of 40.
