What’s new? The customers of Acorns, a US fintech application, now have the opportunity to invest in bitcoin. The annual return on such transactions will be up to 5%. The developers announced this on their official Twitter account.
What else is known about the Acorns functionality? The users will be able to make investments by accumulating change from purchases in ready-made investment portfolios. The company stresses that this is not cryptocurrency trading, but a way of long-term diversification of investments.
Acorns Chief Investment Officer Seth Wunder called this option “a great way to introduce Americans to a new asset class.”
Acorns is a financial application used by more than 8,2 million people worldwide. The total amount of funds under management exceeds $3 billion.
