What’s new? Amazon CEO Andy Jassy has said he can imagine a future in which the e-commerce giant sells NFTs. In an interview with CNBC, he stated that he expects the non-fungible token industry to grow significantly.

Amazon’s chief added that the company is not yet ready to add a feature to the marketplace to pay for goods with cryptocurrencies.

Amazon was previously among the corporate representatives taking part in two advisory groups designed to understand the issues surrounding the creation, implementation, and operation of the UK’s national cryptocurrency. PayPal and Visa also joined the advisory groups, the Bank of England and the UK’s Treasury said.
