Binance has launched a $200 million investment program to support startups in the GameFi sector

What’s new? The Binance cryptocurrency exchange has announced a partnership with Animoca Brands. It manages the digital property rights through NFT and games. The partnership was concluded as part of the implementation of the Binance Smart Chain (BSC) blockchain growth program.

What is known about the program? The companies have launched an investment program to support startups developing BSC-based cryptocurrency games. They plan to invest up to $200 million in it, $100 million on each side.
Gwendolyn Regina, Investment Director at BSC, stated that the main goal of the program is to launch next-generation scalable blockchains and attract customers to the virtual assets.
“With this program, startups will get the opportunity to gain insights and expertise from leading gaming giants such as Animoca Brands, along with collaboration opportunities with blockchain experts from the BSC Community. We look forward to working together with the GameFi sector to build next-generation scalable blockchains and onboard new users into the world of virtual assets,” she added.
