What’s new? As it became known from the material on the Money website, 8 crypto ETNs have been added to the Bulgarian Stock Exchange (BSE) listing and are denominated in euros. In question are ETNs pegged to the largest cryptocurrencies in terms of capitalization, Bitcoin and Ethereum.
What else is known about the listing? Crypto ETNs, or exchange-traded notes, are unsecured debentures whose value is linked to the price of crypto assets. The addition of the new instruments was supported by one of the largest exchange organizations, Deutsche Börse, and the market maker Tradegate. As a result of the listing, the BSE clients can invest in digital assets on a fully legal basis. The trades are held at the exchange’s regular sessions.
According to the exchange’s representatives, the decision to add crypto ETNs was made amid increased market demand for this type of service from the exchange’s clients.
