What had happened before? In December, Bastrykin said that cryptocurrencies should be recognized as property, and the procedure for their confiscation should be introduced into legislation.
In light of the SKR Chairman’s statement, Prosecutor General Igor Krasnov clarified that Russia is currently developing suitable laws. They aim to legally enable the arrest of virtual assets that are in illegal circulation.
