What’s new? In the last 24 hours, crypto investors have bought more than 42 million UST. The purchase was made in four large transactions. The purchase of stablecoins was detected by the WhaleStats service.
What are the transaction volumes? Crypto investors bought 15 000 000 UST and then 9 000 000 UST. After that came another transaction of 10 000 000 UST. A fourth transaction purchased 8 000 000 UST.
During periods of volatility in the cryptocurrency market, large investors usually switch their attention to stablecoins.
What is UST? It is a Terra blockchain stablecoin pegged to the dollar, which is kept stable through a swap mechanism. According to CoinMarketCap, UST has a market capitalization of $14,7 billion, making it the fourth-largest stablecoin in the world.
