What’s new? The OpenSea NFT platform recorded the sale of a token of the popular CryptoPunks project for 900 ETH (about $2,9 million). The purchase of NFT under the number #2681 was made by the MoonPay crypto startup.

What else is known about the deal? The token itself is a pixel image of a punk wearing a purple cap and with red-blue eyes. The average resale price of this token on OpenSea is 420 ETH.
The MoonPay cryptocurrency payment infrastructure provider currently has NFTs of popular projects such as CryptoKitties, Bore Ape Yacht Club, and CryptoPunk #4222 on its account, acquired about a month ago. The new token #2681 for 900 ETH became the 18th in the company's collection.
