What’s new? Ticker Plant, a division of Cryptowire, has launched the first index of cryptocurrencies in India called IC15. It will track 15 leading cryptocurrencies, the India Today agency reports.
How will the index be calculated? The index value will be calculated by dividing the total circulating market capitalization of the index basket by the index divisor and multiplying by the base value of 10000. At the time of writing, the index is at 71475,48 points. IC15 will be monitored and balanced every quarter by the economic and cryptocurrency experts.
How is cryptocurrency regulated in India? The Cryptowire project comes at the most important moment for the digital assets in the country. India is actively preparing for the implementation of the new cryptocurrency regulations. Already, every user has to declare their digital assets.
