Details of the upgrade. Dogecoin Core developer Patrick Lodder noted in a document on Github that the upgrade also optimizes the user interface. He recommended that all Dogecoin Core users upgrade their software to the current version.
In addition, the memory management of the network in cases of congestion has been improved. The document also reports that the network now rejects error messages.
Dogecoin is trading at $0,068629 as of July 21 at 14:00 UTC, down 1,95% in 24 hours, according to Binance.
What is Dogecoin? The project was founded in 2013 by Jackson Palmer and Billy Markus. It is a cryptocurrency with the Proof of Work (PoW) consensus algorithm, which was created as a joke based on the popular meme of the same name with a picture of a Shiba Inu dog. Dogecoin is based on a fork of the Bitcoin network - Litecoin - with high transaction speed and low fees.
Earlier, it became known that Elon Musk's company The Boring Company would begin to accept DOGE to pay for trips in the service Loop, located in Las Vegas.
