What's new? Genesis Trading, an over-the-counter trading platform, has published a report on the third quarter of 2021. The company's analysts expressed their opinion about bitcoin in it.
What conclusions did the experts come to? The Genesis Trading experts concluded that retail investors' demand for BTC had fallen in the third quarter. It has become more difficult for them to profit because of the unbalanced market, they added.
At the same time, institutional investors began to show an active interest in BTC futures ETFs. Experts warn that further institutionalization of the first cryptocurrency will make it less attractive to retail traders.
What else did the analysts note? Experts also noticed that institutional investors are increasingly attracted to the DeFi area. To meet this demand, Genesis has launched a number of new types of options on some cryptocurrencies, as well as the DYDX token.
