The company will build its own virtual “concept store.”
What’s new? Gucci, a world-famous brand, has acquired a space in The Sandbox metaverse. According to Vogue Business, the fashion house plans to open its own virtual clothing and accessories store.
How will the brand implement this idea? In the virtual store, the players will be able to purchase in-game items created by Gucci designers. The fashion house has collaborated with The Sandbox to develop the Gucci Vault project.
This is an experimental virtual space designed by Alessandro Michele, Gucci’s Creative Director, which houses the brand’s designs for the metaverse. Gucci Vault also includes several NFTs and a Discord server.
