What’s new? The Sandbox began a partnership with insurance and investment firm AXA Hong Kong. This partnership makes AXA the first Hong Kong-based insurance organization to enter The Sandbox metaverse. The company has purchased a 3x3 site on which it will launch an innovative interactive operation. As part of the collaboration, AXA will bring a new digital experience to its customers. Together with The Sandbox, it aims to develop the insurance industry through the metaverse.

What is known about AXA Hong Kong and Macau? It is a member of the AXA Group, a leading global insurance company with a presence in 50 markets and serving 95 million customers worldwide. The organization has become one of the most diversified insurers offering comprehensive life, health and general insurance solutions.

What is known about Sandbox? The project was launched by game developer Pixowl. It is a virtual world based on the Ethereum blockchain that allows users to create, buy and sell digital assets using a native SAND token. Users own land plots in the metaverse, which are non-fungible LAND tokens. As of September 28, 14:25 UTC, SAND is trading at $0,8392, having lost 4,81% in a day, according to Binance.

Earlier, one of the largest international providers of banking and financial services, HSBC, announced a virtual rugby tournament in The Sandbox metaverse. The project is implemented in partnership with Index Game, a Hong Kong company.
