What’s new? Crypto exchange Huobi has announced a strategic partnership with blockchain game developer Gala Games. According to the press release, the companies intend to cooperate in the field of investments and listing Gala platform projects. Additionally, the parties plan to join forces to build a Web 3.0 ecosystem, co-branding, project development, and community building.
What else does the press release say? A Huobi spokesperson said that the partnership with Gala will accelerate the creation of a global Web 3.0 gateway, and the integration of the studio’s Layer 1 (L1) blockchain will improve the underlying on-chain technology. Projects built in the Gala ecosystem, such as GameFi and NFT ones, will have “a reference to work with in order to implement the proper Web3 infrastructure.” The studio’s products will also be considered for investment and listing on Huobi.
Gala Games President of Blockchain, Jason “BitBender” Brink, noted that the integration of the studio’s blockchain into popular exchanges such as Huobi is necessary for mass adoption of the technology. He added that the partnership will enable developers to create a more stable and secure future in the Web 3.0 space.

On January 9, the studio announced a partnership with actors Dwayne Johnson and Mark Wahlberg for Gala Film and Gala Music projects, but soon deleted a post about it, causing GALA to plummet 22%. As of March 31, 11:10 UTC, the asset is trading at $0,04, down by 3,36% in 24 hours, according to Binance.
