What’s new? The KuCoin cryptocurrency exchange has announced that its investment arm jointly with NFT marketplace Windvane have launched a $100 million fund, Creators Fund. Its goal is to fund NFT startups at an early stage of development. This is reported in a press release of the crypto exchange.
What else does the press release say? Creators Fund will offer 99 well-known NFT creators to join Windvane to develop Web 3.0 technologies. In addition, the Windvane marketplace plans to create a comprehensive platform compatible with major blockchains for NFT, such as Ethereum, BNB Chain, and Flow. Windvane will help projects use the platform for initial NFT offerings (INOs).
What is known about KuCoin? It is a cryptocurrency exchange founded in September 2017 and located in Seychelles. The CEO of KuCoin is Johnny Liu. The exchange’s daily trading volume is $2 billion, according to CoinMarketCap.
