What’s new? Several fine dining restaurants in Malta have announced that they are ready to accept bitcoin as a means of payment, the Lovin Malta portal reports. According to the published information, it is possible to pay with the cryptocurrency at Tarragon, Caviar & Bull, and Buddhamann restaurants.

What comments did the owner make? All three haute cuisine restaurants are owned by chef Marvin Gauci. He confirmed that the establishments are already equipped with a system from Black Rabbit Holding, which, in addition to cash and credit cards, can accept payments in cryptocurrency. Furthermore, the chef said that the new service will also be available at the Budapest branch of Caviar & Bull restaurant.
Earlier, the Phuket Tourist Association (PTA) and the Bank of Thailand (BOT) announced that Russian tourists can pay with cryptocurrency for various services. This measure is designed to help Russians make payments amid blocking bank cards.
