They include plans to develop software and tools for the interaction of virtual asset service providers for blockchain and crypto transactions. Licensed trademark attorney Mike Kondoudis announced this on his Twitter account.

Mastercard and cryptocurrencies. In December 2022, Hi, a financial application, with the support of Polygon, launched a platform to customize Mastercard’s debit card. With it, holders can create non-fungible tokens (NFTs) from their own images and use them to customize the face of a Web 3.0 card. Purchases with the card can be paid in cryptocurrency or fiat.

In October, Mastercard entered into a strategic partnership with Dubai-based cryptocurrency exchange BitOasis to launch a crypto payment card in the Middle East and North Africa. That same month, the payment giant highlighted five key areas to work with digital assets.
