What’s new? Cryptocurrency wallet Phantom, running on the Solana blockchain, has announced plans to add support for two more Web 3.0 networks — Ethereum and Polygon. The new version of the wallet is already in the alpha testing stage. The developers announced this on Twitter.

What else is known about the wallet? According to the team, Phantom is preparing to become “one wallet for everything.” The main goal is to make Web 3.0 more convenient for both users and developers. It will be a single multichain wallet with support for non-fungible tokens (NFTs), games and applications based on Polygon, Layer 2 (L2) network for Ethereum scaling.

To ensure security, features such as advanced transaction preview, real-time warnings, and 24/7 support service are provided.

The wallet will also get NFT management and viewing features in a browser extension. Tests of the new version are currently underway, but those interested can already join a waitlist.

In October, cybersecurity experts at BleepingComputer warned users that hackers were sending out NFTs containing malware under the guise of an update for Phantom.
