​Re-State Foundation to open a university in the metaverse

What’s new? Re-State Foundation, a Swiss non-profit foundation, will launch the world’s first virtual university in the metaverse, Metametaverse. In addition to educational resources, the MetaUniversity will unite and provide space for all educational institutions that exist in Web 3.0. According to the official announcement, the project will focus on structuring “all human knowledge, with a special emphasis on technological development.”

More details about MetaUniversity. The digital university will be a “portal” through which users will be able to enter educational spaces in other metaverses. Anastasia Kalinina, co-founder and CEO of Re-State Foundation stated:

“Open knowledge and accessible education should be top priorities for the next generation of metaverses. It is imperative to make structures and incentives underlying our digital ecosystem evolve alongside its technological foundations.”

What is Re-State? It is a Swiss non-profit foundation that creates new approaches to education. Re-State has brought together private and public sector leaders, technology entrepreneurs, and youth communities to test and create new models of governance.

What is Metametaverse? It is a project founded by Joel Dietz, one of the creators of the MetaMask cryptocurrency wallet. The project plans to merge existing metaverses so that players can move seamlessly between them.
