Retail chain Everbowl will be able to pay employees’ salaries in bitcoins

What’s new? According to a press release of the US retailer Everbowl, the company’s employees will be able to receive a portion of their salaries in BTC. CEO Jeff Fenster called this innovation a “Bitcoin Savings Plan.” The company’s employees will be able to receive payments in cryptocurrency as early as next month.
What does the company’s CEO say about this? The press release reports that Jeff Fenster to “be leading by example” for his employees and will start to receive a salary in cryptocurrency himself. The CEO of Everbowl stated:
“We are proud to be at the forefront of exploring how Bitcoin can be used as an alternative savings vehicle for our corporate employees [...] Inflation affects everyone but our position as a high-growth company allows us to be innovative in providing investment opportunities for the Everbowl employees.”
Everbowl is not the first company to offer its employees this opportunity. It was previously reported that in the city of Jackson, Tennessee, citizens will be able to convert their salary into cryptocurrency.
